The internacional star and Brazil top scorer with 34 goals, Leandro Damiao, was called to play for the Selecao against Ghana on the 5 of September.
The 22 year old will then have his third chance to show his football the one that Internacional’s fans adore. His first cap was against Scotland last March. The second one was against the Netherland three months later.
After having played for different youth team in Brazil, Damiao was signed by Internacional where he first played for the reserve team. In 2010 he made it to the first team and became an idol because of his goal in the final of the Copa Libertadores which gave the trophy to the Brazilian team.
This season Damiao has scored one goal after the other and his fame his growing and not only in Brazil.
