New Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez has rung the changes but retain Oscar, Ramires and David Luiz as starters against champions Manchester City today.

Benitez was appointed on Wednesday after Roberto Di Matteo’s sacking in the morning, Roman Abramovich’s ninth managerial appointment in just nine years.

The former Liverpool, Inter and Valencia coach is also charged with reviving the fortunes of out of form striker Fernando Torres, who was so prolific during the Spaniard’s tenure at Liverpool.

Oscar is expected to retain his place playing behind Torres, charged with providing the service to the forward.

However, Ramires may see a change of position as he may be shifted out to the right side of the midfield, away from his preferred place in the centre of midfield.

David Luiz also starts at centreback today.
