Among those included for the tournament are two sons of 1994 World Cup winners, in the shape of Flamengo attacking midfielder Matheus, son of Bebeto, and Barcelona B’s Rafinha, son of Mazinho.

The inclusion of Rafinha is seen as somewhat of a coup for the Brazilian side, with the player having represented Spain at Under-19 level. However, unlike elder brother Thiago, Rafael Alcântara has chosen to represent the same country as his father.

Other well known faces include Chelsea-bound full-back Wallace and Juventus-linked centre-back Dória, while midfielder Adryan (pictured) came close to joining Manchester United in the past.

The competition kicks off on 9 January, with Brazil paired alongside Ecuador, Uruguay, Peru and Venezuela in Group A.
