Evanilson was the big surprise of the call-up
- The center-forward position is one of the most contested in the Brazilian national team, with interesting possibilities;
- One of the players called up was Endrick, from Palmeiras, who scored goals in the matches against England and Spain, in the last FIFA date;
- The other, surprisingly, was Evanilson, from Porto, who was revealed in the youth categories of Fluminense.
Evanilson is going through a great phase in European football
In 39 matches played in the current European football season, Evanilson scored 24 goals and provided 5 assists, being one of the great highlights of Porto. Despite this, the Dragons are far from a spot in the UEFA Champions League, and should settle for only the Europa League.
In the Champions League, Evanilson’s average is good: he has scored four goals in seven matches. At Porto, he is a teammate of seven other Brazilians: Samuel Portugal (goalkeeper), Otávio (defender), Pepe (defender), Wendell (left-back), Pepê (forward), Galeno (forward) and Wendel Silva (forward).
