Endrick has already begun to leave his mark at Real Madrid. It took only a few minutes on the pitch against Valladolid for the Brazilian to score his first goal for Los Blancos in his debut, and he did so in front of the home crowd at the iconic Santiago Bernabéu.
After the match, coach Carlo Ancelotti showed nothing but praise the young striker: “He looks very promising. In his goal, he showed his qualities. Very powerful with his shooting, he is a classic center-forward in the box.”

The former Palmeiras player came on in the 86th minute, replacing Kylian Mbappé, with Real Madrid already leading 1-0. While the victory seemed secure, the three points were sealed by players who came off the bench in the second half.
Brahim Díaz scored in the 88th minute, and Endrick added another in the 96th, securing a 3-0 final score for Madrid. Could this create a dilemma for Ancelotti when selecting the starting eleven in the future?
It’s a possibility, though the Italian coach doesn’t feel pressured to change the lineup: “Not pressured at all. They are ready, and they take advantage of the minutes I give them. It’s always complicated, like with Lucas Vázquez, who isn’t in the starting lineups but never stops training. It makes me a bit sad, but it’s my responsibility; I have to choose who starts.
“Especially at the beginning of the season, with the heat, the players get tired. This has never happened in 40 years; I have to choose the freshest players on the field. The players need to take on more responsibility on the pitch, and I’ve already talked to them about it.”
At 18 years old, Endrick still has a long way to go in Europe. But his new chapter in the Spanish capital has already started on a positive note.
