According to Catalan outlet Sport at the time, Barcelona signed Roque for €30 million, to be paid in installments over the next four seasons, with another €31 million euros in add-ons.
Relevo provided more details about the transfer: while Barcelona would pay the fixed part in installments of €5 million every six months approximately, the add-ons look difficult to be trigerred due to the specific objectives included in the contract.
