Raphinha has become one of the faces of a Barcelona team revitalized under German coach Hansi Flick. However, the Brazilian’s journey at the club could have taken a very different direction.

“Yes, I thought about it. The first few months were tough for me and my family. After the World Cup, I improved and managed to finish the season well. I felt more at ease, but the beginning was quite difficult. I found it hard to adapt to the club,” Raphinha said.
The season ended on a high note for him though, as the Brazilian played a role in Barcelona’s 2022-23 LaLiga triumph. Now in his third year with the club, despite rumors linking him to a potential transfer, he remains a key part of Flick’s starting eleven.
Raphinha has scored three goals and provided two assists in four matches this season. Overall, he boasts 23 goals and 25 assists in 91 official matches for Barcelona.
