With just a few weeks to go until the official release of EA Sports FC 25, player ratings have started to leak on social media. It has been revealed that Vinicius Junior won’t have the highest rating in the game, but he will be very close.
The Brazilian forward will see his stellar performance from last season rewarded with an improved rating. Having had an overall rating of 89 in the previous edition, Vinicius is expected to receive a rating of 90 in EA FC 25.

The former Flamengo player will have just one point less than his new teammate Kylian Mbappé, who is set to have the best card on the team with an overall rating of 91. This score would place the Frenchman as the highest-rated player in the game, alongside Erling Haaland and Rodri from Manchester City.

Vinicius Junior’s rating history in FIFA – EA Sports FC
While some may feel that Vinicius still does not have the rating he deserves, it’s clear that his overall rating has been improving each year. Well behind us are the days of FIFA 19, when he started with a modest rating of 77 after joining Real Madrid from Flamengo.
Since then, he has made consistent progress, with his most significant leap coming after scoring the winning goal in the 2021-22 UEFA Champions League final. Following that season, his rating jumped from 80 in FIFA 22 to 86 in FIFA 23.
