Despite being played in Europe, the UEFA Champions League often brings together the most talented players from all over the world. Brazil, for instance, has had several representatives throughout the history of the competition, with great names leaving their mark in recent years.

Among all the Brazilian stars who have shone in the continental tournament, two have lifted the trophy more than the rest of their compatriots. With five titles each, Casemiro and Marcelo are the winningest Brazilian players in UEFA Champions League history.

Both achieved all their triumphs wearing the Real Madrid uniform and were teammates in each of those victories.

The Brazilian duo’s first European triumph came in 2014, when Real Madrid defeated Atlético de Madrid 4-1 in extra time. The left-back even scored his team’s third goal in great fashion shortly before the final whistle.

The midfielder, on the other hand, had the pleasure of scoring in a decisive match in 2017, also netting the third goal in a 4-1 victory over Juventus.
