Enzo Alves, the eldest son of Brazilian left-back Marcelo, is part of the Real Madrid academy. Born in Spain during his father’s tenure at the Santiago Bernabeu, the kid’s talent has already caught the eye of the Spanish youth national team, being called up to the U15s.
According to As, in Brazil they want Enzo Alves to follow in his father’s footsteps by representing La Canarinha. It won’t be easy though, since Spain seem to be keen on making the young player part of their program while the CBF intends to lure him.

Brazil would try to lure Enzo Alves from Spain
His call-up to the Spanish U15 team in April was a huge blow for the CBF, who are reportedly monitoring his situation very closely with the idea of inviting him to be part of their youth teams soon. Though Alves is only 13, his physical development lets him play in a higher division.
Marcelo’s son has already worn the Brazil shirt in the Pinatar Cup, but it was just for a few minutes. The Brazilian FA’s idea would be to continue getting close to him and eventually making him fall for Brazil instead of Spain. In the wake of his call-up to Spain earlier this year, in Brazil they don’t want to miss out on a potential star.
